When the Groupe Savoy teams get in touch with the IT Lumberjacks, their need is simple: rationalize their IT infrastructure with a reliable, secure, and consistent solution—strengthen cybersecurity and centralize Internet access through a single point.

After evaluating several competing solutions, Groupe Savoy decided to go with the Mountain Men solution, which they felt offered greater reassurance for their critical operations, especially when it came to cybersecurity.
What was the plan ? At the start, simply migrate to MPLS solution, proposed by Mountain Men, more secure and solid, with a guaranteed bandwidth and adapted SLA. Once again, MPLS solution proves its value and strengths compared with SD-WAN.
That’s a good start—but what about the international sites? As a matter of fact, Groupe Savoy has several sites around the world, including Morocco, Tunisia, and Romania.
That means a lot of people to connect securely.
For this purpose, the IT Lumberjacks deployed a hybrid and efficient architecture: MPLS in France for performance and reliability, with IPsec tunnels from the international sites to the central firewall to keep costs under control.

Ultimately, the solution and collaboration with the IT Lumberjacks worked so well that Groupe Savoy decided to migrate its servers to the Mountain Men Cloud, natively interconnected via MPLS.

The result? No more IPsec tunnels to manage between sites and the Cloud, smoother connectivity, and much simpler operations.
The solution also enables near-instantaneous failover between the primary and backup links, with no impact on users.

Groupe Savoy has optimized its infrastructure while reducing costs.
Another successful mission for the IT Lumberjacks!
