Unleashing the Power of WAN for AI

Sesterce is a French company specializing in AI computing infrastructure. Its expertise lies in designing and operating AI factories and a Cloud platform that enables companies to test, train, and deploy their AI models.

Sesterce has full mastery of AI and automation, particularly the orchestration of compute clusters to deliver high-performance computing capacity. But all of this relies on specific infrastructure designed for AI.
However, Sesterce is well aware of its weaknesses in this area:
On top of that, Sesterce has an ambitious growth strategy, with numerous datacenter projects in the pipeline. This calls for a WAN network that can keep pace with that growth, along with security features that will eventually enable ISO and SOC 2 certification.
Fortunately, Sesterce had THE right idea: calling in the IT Lumberjacks to sort it all out!
To gain full control over the configuration, the infrastructure is fully built and tested in a staging environment at our Annecy datacenter. This allows us to identify and anticipate potential issues before deployment, so the infrastructure can be shipped to Paris ready to go.

At the same time, we deploy 100G D-Lake and Arelion transit links, with anti-DDoS protection. The deployment is completed in just two days in Paris, including full infrastructure acceptance testing, followed by a dual-run period alongside the previous operator using the existing IP addresses—ensuring a completely seamless transition with no service interruption.

Anticipation. Planning. The infrastructure is completely overhauled, with zero impact on operations.

Strengthen and secure. Clean and neat, just the way we like it at the IT Lumberjacks.

Conclusion: a Happy Ending! The entire operation and maintenance of the infrastructure is managed by the Mountain Men teams and has evolved into full 24/7 outsourcing across the entire stack. The Mountain Men toolbox—LibreNMS and Akvorado, hosted on our Cloud platform—is deployed to provide monitoring and visibility across the network architecture.
And Sesterce? They were so satisfied that they asked the IT Lumberjacks to do it all over again for their other datacenter.

Sooo… here we go again!
